CONSULTATION: BEHAVIORAL HEALTH GENERALIZED AND SPECIALIZED SERVICES
With over a decade of experience in the field of behavioral health, we have witnessed the importance developing structural integrity within organizations and teams that are built on a foundation of understanding the impact of trauma on people and systems. Along with generalized consultation services to build structural integrity to your practice, we are dedicated to helping your team establish an understanding of best practices, person-centered care, and trauma informed practices to be able to assist your agency and the population you serve thrive.
Ethics Training: This training provides a comprehensive overview of ethical standards and best practices in the field of mental health counseling. Participants will explore key ethical principles, such as confidentiality, dual relationships, informed consent, and professional boundaries. Through case studies and interactive discussions, attendees will learn how to navigate complex ethical dilemmas and apply the American Counseling Association (ACA) Code of Ethics in their daily practice. The training aims to enhance ethical decision-making skills, promote client welfare, and ensure compliance with state regulations, ultimately empowering counselors to uphold the highest standards of care.
Implicit Bias Training: This training is designed to help mental health professionals recognize, understand, and address implicit biases that may impact their practice. Participants will explore the origins of implicit bias, how it influences perceptions and decision-making, and its effects on client interactions and therapeutic outcomes. The goal is to enhance awareness and build skills that foster better client-counselor relationships, ultimately improving the quality of care for diverse populations.
Motivational Interviewing: This training is designed to equip counselors with the core principles and techniques of Motivational Interviewing, a client-centered approach that enhances motivation for change. Participants will learn how to effectively engage clients in conversations that explore and resolve ambivalence, helping them to build intrinsic motivation for positive behavioral changes. Attendees will gain skills in using open-ended questions, reflective listening, and strategic affirmations to foster a collaborative therapeutic environment. This training is ideal for counselors looking to deepen their understanding of MI and integrate it into their practice to support clients in achieving their goals.
CBT Workshop: This workshop offers an in-depth introduction to the principles and techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach for treating a range of mental health issues. Participants will learn how to identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, behaviors, and beliefs that contribute to emotional distress. Through interactive demonstrations, case examples, and hands-on practice, attendees will gain skills in developing effective treatment plans, guiding clients through cognitive restructuring, and utilizing behavioral interventions. This workshop is ideal for counselors who wish to deepen their understanding of CBT and apply these practical tools to help clients achieve meaningful, lasting change.
Trauma Series: This comprehensive training series offers an in-depth exploration of trauma and its impact, designed to enhance the skills of mental health professionals. Across three sessions, participants will delve into the neuroscience behind trauma, understand common misdiagnoses of PTSD, and explore evidence-based trauma treatments. Each part of the series builds upon the last, providing attendees with a robust understanding of trauma, its presentation, and effective approaches for treatment.
LLPC (Limited Licensed Professional Counselor) Licensing Supervision:
We are passionate about teaching and training the new generations of mental health professionals to the field. Our goal is to provide supervision services as an experience for both the individual, group and supervisor. We truly believe that we will all learn from one another. Our goal is to provide a supervision experience at an easy price for a new therapist entering the field.
